The 3rd Week
This was the 3rd week of our class. I was so excited that we got to start our first project. It was fun looking through all of the various glass, but hard deciding on just 3 different ones to use. I was worried that we were already starting our project after only practicing for one day. But, cutting the glass came back to me after 20+ years, as I got all my pieces cut out. Next week, I'm excited to use my new grinder and get all my pieces of glass to fit together. I am loving this class.

I sure didn't stop at only three. Possibly will find one more color for this project. Don't want any of the same colors to be next to each other. The next project I might limit the colors used and see how it goes. Just too many color of glass to choose from.

ReplyDeleteI was worried too after only having one practice session. But I think it's better to go ahead and learn by doing. And I'm sure our time is limited. I'm excited to have a project of my own to take home.
ReplyDeleteOnce you start cutting, I find it begins getting easier. You're doing a great job cutting your pieces. I'm sure you'll have fun refining everything with the grinder. And I'm glad you're enjoying the class... we enjoy having you!
